Privacy Policy

Most recent update: March 2024

Dreeven Technologies and our affiliated companies and subsidiaries (“Dreeven”) respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it by complying with this policy.
This policy describes:
  • How we collect, use, disclose and protect the personal information of our customers and users of the website and our online services (“you”).
  • The type of personal information we may obtain about you or that you may provide to us, including when you visit the dreeven.com website, use our app.dreeven.com application, our products, services or software (collectively, our “Service”).
  • Our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting and disclosing such information in the course of our business and how you may exercise your rights.
Personal information is any information about a natural person that allows that person to be identified directly or indirectly. Examples: postal address, telephone number, e-mail address, bank account number.
Personal information is “sensitive” when it gives rise to a high reasonable expectation of privacy, particularly because of the potential harm to the individual in the event of a breach of confidentiality. Examples: financial information, medical information, biometric data, social insurance number, sexual orientation.
In general, personal information excludes business contact information when you are located in the province of Quebec, such as your name, title, business address or telephone number. In other provinces, business contact information is also excluded when we collect it for the purpose of contacting you in the course of your employment.
Dreeven only collects personal information that is necessary for the purposes of our business. We collect and use many types of information about you, including:
  • Identification and contact information, such as your first and last name, e-mail address, street address and telephone number.
  • Profile information, such as your e-mail address and password to access the Service.
  • Technical information, such as your login information, browser type and version, and usage details such as your interaction with our Service pages.
Dreeven collects business-type information, which is not personal information, such as demographic information, business practices and processes, benchmarking or statistical or aggregate information.
Statistical or aggregated data does not directly identify a particular person or company, but we may derive non-personal statistical or aggregated data from personal information and/or business information.
The Service is not intended for children (under the age of 14) and we do not intentionally collect personal information from children under the age of 14.
Most of the personal information we collect is that which you provide directly to us, for example, when you:
  • Communicate with us (in person, by telephone, by e-mail, etc.);
  • Subscribe to Dreeven products and services;
  • Fill out forms;
  • Make specific requests to Dreeven;
  • Provide feedback or answer surveys;
  • Apply for available positions on-site or by e-mailing our Human Resources Department.
Dreeven may also collect your personal information from third parties with your consent or if authorized to do so by law.
Dreeven may also collect personal information when you visit our websites, platforms or connect to our online services.
Subject to applicable requirements regarding consent to collection via a technology service or solution, the IP address used by your device to connect is automatically collected when you access Dreeven’s websites and platforms.
Dreeven and some of its advertising network partners may also collect other information concerning the use of its Web site, through the use of cookies. These files make it possible to recognize users of our site when they access it and when they move from one page to another. Dreeven and, where applicable, its partner advertising networks, use these cookies to identify people who show a particular interest in certain pages of its websites, for the purposes of advertising targeting. In this way, Dreeven can display specific advertisements, particularly in the form of banners, on other Web sites visited by you.
